Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd (ABN 55 650 869 060, BPC LIC 48686) quotes for or carries out plumbing work for you, and when you use this website. In these terms, “we” and “us” means All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd and “you” means the person or entity who books the work.

By accepting a quote or allowing us to start work, you agree to these terms. If we have signed a separate written agreement with you, that agreement applies to the extent of any inconsistency.

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Any quote accepted after that date may be subject to price rises.

The scope of works covered in a quote, whether it is a variable or a fixed price quote, is specific to the works being carried out on site.

A variable quote is subject to change and is not a fixed price. A fixed price quote does not change outside the scope of works outlined in that quote.

If the works deviate or vary from the quote because of a request from you, or because of conditional changes due to unforeseen circumstances or conditions, extra costs may be involved.

We will discuss any variation with you before proceeding with the variation works.

If you are booking a quote or a job with us, we require an upfront payment of $165.

New clients pay this fee upfront. Existing clients are charged the same fee, but it is waived or deducted from the next invoice if they proceed with the quote or the service we have been engaged for.

Builder and real estate clients are exempt from the upfront payment unless otherwise informed.

If you fail to make a scheduled booking that we have arranged in order to meet and carry out the work, the initial $165 payment is not refunded. Rescheduling the booking is up to you. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs, however a new fee will be charged for our service.

Works between $1,000 and $3,000 require a deposit of 10%, with the balance paid on the day of completion.

Works between $3,000 and $20,000 require a deposit of 10% initially and 40% once materials are on site, prior to works commencing, with the balance paid on the day of completion. Your deposit amount may be staged out at different progression points of the job.

Payments can be made by card, cash, bank transfer or direct bank deposit. We do not accept cheques or money orders.

If you are supplying your own materials for the work, they must be correct and ready for installation. If they are not, we may charge extra for returning to site or for sourcing the correct materials to complete the job.

Clear and safe access is to be provided for our team to conduct the works, with consent given by the client or the tenant.

For occupational health and safety reasons, we may require two or more tradespeople on site in order to align with and follow requirements. Works carried out by both tradespersons will be charged. This includes, but is not limited to, working on roofs.

We take as much care as possible, however we will not be held responsible for, and this is not limited to, cracking foundations and correcting unforeseen problems of any structure, service or earth, including existing plumbing services.

For all roof leak repairs, excluding new installations, no warranty is given after the first visit to site. Roof leaks are often solved by a process of elimination and investigation over more than the first visit to site.

All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd does not perform asbestos or other hazardous material or substance removal and has no responsibility whatsoever for any such removal.

You expressly release, and shall hold All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd harmless from, any liability whatsoever and all claims arising out of its presence, release, remediation or removal, and for any costs, losses or damages you may suffer or sustain if it is found to exist on the property.

Our warranty period on all works under a certificate of compliance is 6 years for workmanship and quality.

Works not covered under a certificate of compliance are subject to determination of the type of job and the conditions under which the work has been installed. No period is given for this and it is judged on a case-by-case basis with respect to the application.

Materials fall under the manufacturer warranty period, which will differ for each product and material. We keep records of materials and products purchased and can assist you with the follow up of any warranty claim. Otherwise, a warranty may be referred to the manufacturer of the product we are claiming under warranty.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel the contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.

For goods, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. Domestic building work in Victoria may also carry statutory warranties under the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995 (Vic), and nothing in these terms limits those either.

We are a licensed plumbing business, BPC LIC 48686, registered with the Victorian Building Authority.

We operate under work safe practices outlined in the AUS/STND and are insured up to $20,000,000 public liability. All of our staff are covered under work cover insurance as per AUS/STND.

If either party wishes to terminate our services prior to the works being completed or started, due to any of the above conditions not being met or due to a dispute, they can do so.

We require payment up to the section of works that has been completed to date, as per the quote and the agreed price.

If you have any disputes, they can be taken up directly with the Owner, Nathan Jacovou, by calling the office, at which time we will seek to find a resolution to the problem to the best of our ability. All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse service.

You agree to indemnify All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd and keep All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd indemnified against all actions, claims, costs, demands, damages or liability arising in any manner from a breach by you of these Terms of Use.

Client information and details are confidential and stored on our database. We do not share your information with anyone unless you have given your written consent.

All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd will take photos of the site and/or the works for invoicing, reporting, proof of workmanship or liability purposes. These photos may also be used by All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd for promotional purposes.

Where All Eastern Plumbing Pty Ltd is required, by law or otherwise, to provide you with a document, you consent to the provision of that document electronically through the links on our site.

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is published on this website.
