Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These are the terms on which we quote for and carry out plumbing work, and on which you use this website. Please read them before you accept a quote.
Nothing here takes away the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when All Eastern Plumbing (ABN 55 650 869 060, BPC LIC 48686) quotes for or carries out plumbing work for you, and when you use this website. In these terms, “we” and “us” means All Eastern Plumbing and “you” means the person or entity who books the work.
By accepting a quote or allowing us to start work, you agree to these terms. If we have signed a separate written agreement with you, that agreement applies to the extent of any inconsistency.
2. Quotes and pricing
We assess the job on site and give you a fixed, written price before any work starts. No work begins and no payment is due until you accept that price.
A quote is based on what can be seen and reasonably assessed at the time of inspection. It covers the scope described in the quote and nothing else.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we state otherwise. Prices may change after that, particularly where material costs have moved.
Where we attend to diagnose a problem and you choose not to proceed, a call out or assessment fee may apply. We will tell you about any such fee before we attend.
3. Bookings, access and site conditions
You need to give us safe and clear access to the work area at the agreed time, and tell us about anything that affects the work, including asbestos, concealed services, structural issues or pets on site.
Where you are not the owner of the property, you confirm that you have the owner's authority to have the work carried out.
Arrival windows are estimates. Weather, emergencies and the length of earlier jobs can move them. We will contact you if your booking is running late.
We take reasonable care to protect your property and leave the site tidy. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, or for damage that could not reasonably have been avoided in carrying out the work you asked for, such as removing tiles or plaster to reach a concealed pipe.
4. Variations and unforeseen work
Plumbing work sometimes uncovers problems that could not be seen at the time of quoting, such as a collapsed drain, corroded pipework or non-compliant existing installations.
If that happens we will stop, explain what we have found, and give you a price for the additional work. We will not carry out extra work or charge you for it without your approval.
5. Payment
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. For larger jobs we may ask for a deposit or progress payments, which will be set out in the quote.
We accept the payment methods shown on our invoices and website. Where you take up a payment plan, that plan is a separate agreement between you and the finance provider and is subject to their terms and approval.
Goods supplied remain our property until they are paid for in full. Overdue accounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us. Please give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.
Where we have already ordered non-returnable materials or specially ordered equipment for your job, you may be charged for those items.
7. Our workmanship guarantee
We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date the work is completed. If something fails because of the way we did the work, we will come back and put it right at no cost to you.
The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, tampering or work carried out by someone else, blockages caused by what is put into the system, tree root intrusion into pipework that was sound when we left, storm and flood damage, or failures in parts of the system we did not work on.
Please tell us about a problem as soon as you notice it. Where you arrange for someone else to carry out remedial work without giving us the chance to inspect it first, the guarantee may not apply.
8. Manufacturer warranties
Products we supply and install, such as hot water units, heat pumps, tapware and filtration systems, carry the manufacturer's own warranty. Those warranty terms are set by the manufacturer, not by us.
We will handle warranty claims with the manufacturer on your behalf. Some manufacturers charge for attendance where the fault turns out not to be covered, and those charges are passed on to you.
Manufacturer warranties usually require the product to be installed and serviced correctly. Servicing intervals for hot water and filtration systems are your responsibility unless you have arranged a service plan with us.
9. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel the contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
For goods, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. Domestic building work in Victoria may also carry statutory warranties under the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995 (Vic), and nothing in these terms limits those either.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, and other than for the rights described in the section above, our liability for any claim connected with the work is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of profit or loss of use.
We carry public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
11. Licensing and compliance
We are a licensed plumbing business, BPC LIC 48686, registered with the Victorian Building Authority. We carry out work to the relevant Australian Standards and plumbing regulations.
Where the work requires a compliance certificate, we will issue one after testing. Ask to see our licence and insurance paperwork at the door at any time and we will show you.

13. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is published on this website.
